Four players from West Michigan Conference to compete in statewide all-star softball games

Davenport University is hosting Michigan High School Softball Coaches Association All-Star Games on Wednesday.

The West Michigan Conference will be well-represented in the Michigan High School Softball Coaches Association All-Star Games Wednesday (July 13) at Davenport University’s Farmers Insurance Athletic Complex.

The game schedule is as follows: Division 2 at 10 a.m.; Division 3 at noon; Division 4 at 2:30 p.m.; and Division 1 at 4:30 p.m.

A trio from Oakridge will compete for the White team in the Division 2 game. Outfielder Delaney Ruel, second baseman Jasmine Pastor and utility player Brooklyn Galdeen will represent the Eagles.

North Muskegon third baseman/pitcher Megan Houseman will play for the Red team in the Division 3 game.

All four of the aforementioned players from the West Michigan Conference earned all-state recognition in their respective divisions.

    You forgot Gianna Reed from Holton for Division 4.

      Thanks for your comment. This story focused on players from the West Michigan Conference playing in the all-star games. Even though Holton is entering the West Michigan Conference, the Red Devils were not in the league for the 2022 season. That’s why I did not include Gianna in the story.

      Congrats to Gianna! Great accomplishment! And CatchMark is looking forward to adding Holton, and the five other West Michigan Conference newcomers, to our coverage!
