Whitehall finishes atop the standings, followed closely by second-place Ravenna

Boys basketball wrapped up in the West Michigan Conference last week. Teams will begin their respective district tournaments tonight throughout the Muskegon area tonight.

This is a look at the final standings in the West Michigan Conference. Whitehall locked up a first-place finish followed closely by Ravenna.

Montague, Oakridge, and North Muskegon all finished with the same 8-6 record. Shelby was just behind them in sixth place.

Hart and Mason County Central rounded out the bottom of the standings.

Many coaches and reporters expected the league to live and parody this season and that is exactly what happened. Many teams suffered unexpected losses and gained surprising victories.

All-Conference selections were made over the weekend an announcement article will be available to the public shortly.

    WMC boys basketball was strong through all 8 teams, every one could be a tough out…..
