Several West Michigan Conference wrestling teams were in action Wednesday night.

Hart, Hesperia and Whitehall competed in a tri-meet at Whitehall on Wednesday.

Whitehall, which is ranked No. 4 in Division 3, picked up a couple more wins. The Vikings defeated Hart (53-12) and Hesperia (53-15).

Wrestlers going 2-0 for Whitehall included Caden Varela (126/132), Ryne Christensen (138), Blake English (144), Darnell Mack (150), Ryan Goodrich (157/165), Wyatt Jenkins (175), Jackson Cook (190/215) and Shane Cook (285).

No result was reported for the Hart vs. Hesperia dual.

Fremont, Mason County Central, North Muskegon and Ravenna competed in a quad at Ravenna.

Mason County Central defeated Ravenna (36-18) and North Muskegon (51-18). Double-winners for the Spartans included Nyveah Wendt (113), Hunter Sanford (120), Zane McCabe (132), Colter Kirchner (144), Brayden Overmyer (150), Parker Overmyer (157) and Graydn Wilson (285).

Fremont defeated Ravenna (83-0).

Holton, Manistee, Montague and Shelby competed in a tri-meet at Shelby.

Montague defeated Holton (72-12) and Manistee (82-6).

Double-winners for Montague included Savannah Winkleblack, Jimmy Thommen, Chris Aebig, Fletcher Thommen, Tristan Winkleblack, Michael Moore, Isaac French, Malachi Plunkett, Landon Wood, Joe Winkelman, Emma Pendell and Natalie Bassett. Wildcats going 1-0 were Ava Pelton, Isaac Falk and Aydan Everett.

No other scores or results were reported from this meet.
