BOYS BASKETBALL

North Muskegon 48, Ravenna 42

This was a physical, hard-fought battle between two familiar opponents. Ravenna’s Dylan May caught fire early, drilling four three-pointers in the first half and scoring 16 of Ravenna’s first 24 points. North Muskegon adjusted defensively, mixed up coverages, and earned a halftime edge. Ravenna responded with a strong third quarter to stay within striking distance, but North Muskegon made just enough plays late. The difference came at the free-throw line, where NM went 11-for-12 to close out the win.
