January 2, 2026 – Royal Oak

In their first game back from the holiday layoff, the Badgers earned a 6–3 road win over Brother Rice Varsity B at John Lindell Ice Arena.

After a scoreless first period, Lakeshore broke through in the second as Lukas Schade (MCC senior) and Owen Adair (MCC sophomore) each found the back of the net. Brother Rice answered with one goal of their own, but the Badgers carried a 2–1 lead into the second intermission.

The Badgers took control in the third period, scoring four times. Levi Young (MCC senior) added a goal, Jacob Bielski (Manistee freshman) scored twice, and Adrian Lundberg (LHS sophomore) capped the scoring. Brother Rice tallied two goals in the period, but Lakeshore’s offensive surge proved too much to overcome.

“I was pleased with the team’s effort coming out of the break,” said head coach Brian Zatloukal. “We carried play for much of the game, played physically, and had a nicely executed power-play goal.”
