WHITEHALL — Ron Smolen is a proud 1984 alumnus of Whitehall High School.
He’s gone on to achieve a lot, including raising a family, advancing his career in pharmacy, and giving back to area youth as a baseball umpire.
Smolen was put on the spot Sunday night (April 28, 2024) as featured guest on Season 7 Episode 4 of the CatchMark SportsNet Podcast. Co-hosts Scott DeCamp and Myles Welch as well as podcast regular Mike Taylor peppered Smolen with questions, but he handled them like a pro.
