On Wednesday (April 29), CatchMark SportsNet unveiled the 2022-23 West Michigan Conference Player of the Year finalists for seven winter sports. We detailed season accomplishments for three finalists in each sport.
Now it’s time for our readers to have their say. It’s time to vote for the Players of the Year.
A CatchMark panel comprised of Scott DeCamp, Conner Raeth and Tate Stine determined the finalists in each sport, but it’s up to you to decide who wins the awards.
Fan polls originally opened at 8 a.m. Thursday, March 30, but because of technical difficulties, we had to relaunch new polls at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 30. Because of the technical difficulties and inconvience, we are extended the voting time until noon on Thursday, April 13.
Readers will be allowed to vote once per hour in each poll.
All Player of the Year finalists are invited to an awards presentation 5-7 p.m. Saturday, April 22, at the Viking Athletic Center in Whitehall. Trophies and certificates will be awarded. A trophy that stays in our CatchMark office in Whitehall will have the names of all Players of the Year engraved on it.

Seems like you have a glitch in your system as people are able to go in and vote over and over. I highly doubt any single student can actually get over 600 votes in a 30 minute period. Maybe the awards should be on their record rather than who can beat the system and vote over and over. Just a thought.
