Steward is listed at 5-foot-11, 210 pounds and is set to join the RedHawks as part of the Class of 2026. His commitment came after a visit to Oxford, where he spent time on campus and around the football program.

As a junior, Steward rushed for 1,062 yards and 11 touchdowns on 137 carries, and added four catches for 109 yards and a touchdown. With Mona Shores graduating key seniors, he’s expected to take on a bigger role in 2025 as the Sailors look to build on last season’s success.

Steward also received scholarship offers from Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan and Toledo before choosing Miami (OH).
