MONTAGUE 48, NORTH MUSKEGON 19: Montague’s stellar defense was on display again Friday evening in North Musekgon. The Wildcats held the Norse scoreless in the first quarter, and only gave up 5 points leading into halftime. A gang of ‘Cats contributed to the scoring. Montague leaves for the holiday break unbeaten in the league, and the Norse will try to find their first conference win when they return.

MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 42, SHELBY 41: At MCC, Shelby jumped out to an early 9-2 start after the first quarter. The Tigers continued that lead into the break with a 21-13 advantage. In the second half, Spartans capitalized on several turnovers that kept them in the game. The Tigers made a 2-point bucket with 1 second left on the clock, but fell just shy of victory.
