The Lakeshore Badgers welcomed the East Kentwood Falcons to West Shore Community Ice Arena on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, and set the tone immediately with a fast, physical start from both sides. The Badgers capitalized early, jumping out front about a minute and a half into the contest when Jacob Bielski (Manistee freshman) finished to make it 1–0. Just two minutes later, Benjamin Wisenbaugh (Pentwater sophomore) added another to give Lakeshore quick breathing room.
Lakeshore’s momentum carried into the second period, where the Badgers consistently drove play and spent extended time in the offensive zone. The pressure showed on the scoreboard as the Badgers piled on three more goals—Cyric Jabrocki (MCC junior), Anderson Riemer (LHS junior), and Tristan Horrigan (MCE senior) all found the net. East Kentwood answered with its lone goal of the night from Deacon Palmbos, but Lakeshore still held firm control heading into the third.
The Badgers closed the door in the final period with two additional tallies. Jabrocki scored again for his second of the game, and Jayden Mirretti (LHS senior) capped the night with the final goal to seal a 7–1 victory.
In net, Brockton Jabrocki earned the win, turning aside 15 of 16 shots. GameSheet-Game-2539522 Grant Hill (LHS freshman) was voted player of the game.
The numbers highlighted Lakeshore’s control throughout: the Badgers outshot East Kentwood 51–16 and continued their strong stretch with a third straight win, improving their season record to 9–7.
