64.6% of total vote solidifies Klint as Player of the Week

Voters have determined that Whitehall senior, Charley Klint is CatchMark’s Player of the Week. This is Klint’s first Player of the Week nomination for the winter sports season. The standout three-sport athlete was honored for her volleyball performance in the “Play of the Week” series for Fall season.

Klint began her basketball season with a team-high 7 points and 13 rebounds against Allendale. Later in the week, she complimented her week’s performance with 16 points and 6 boards in Whitehall’s 39-31 league win over Ravenna.

The senior forward is expected to lead the Vikings this year both on the court and off the court. In addition to her fall and winter sports, Klint is expected to be a significant contributor to the Vikings’ track team this Spring.

The timely highlight received 64.6% of the total vote, landing her in the number one spot. Jayd Hovey of Hart’s girls basketball team followed with a runner-up finish and 23.1% of the total vote.
