‘Coaches Corner’ recap: Whitehall senior linebacker featured as special guest

Whitehall’s football team is coming off a dominating 33-0 road victory over North Muskegon in Week 5, the Vikings’ third-straight shutout.

Who better to join head coach Tony Sigmon on the latest edition of the “Coaches Corner” show than senior Nick Blanchard, who plays in the middle of that defense.

Blanchard and Sigmon join show host Scott DeCamp to recap last week’s win and look ahead to this Friday’s homecoming game against Ludington.

Blanchard, who is also a standout grappler for Whitehall’s state runner-up wrestling team, discusses the links between the sports as well as the unpleasant odors emanating from a football locker room and a wrestling room.
