Montague hosts arch-rival Whitehall in a West Michigan Conference girls soccer match, set for 5 p.m. today (April 12, 2022). It’s been selected the CatchMark SportsNet Competition of the Week.

Montague was looking to open its season a couple weeks ago against future conference opponent Fremont, but that game was postponed because of inclement weather. That match had been selected as the CSN Competition of the Week and it didn’t happen, but the Wildcats get their chance in the spotlight against the Vikings.
This is the season opener for Montague, while Whitehall enters with an 0-2 record after losses to Coopersville and Fruitport.
