Maggie Evans scored two goals and Avery Thomas also tallied to lead Whitehall to a 3-0 victory over Ludington in a Division 2 girls district soccer semifinal Tuesday at Spring Lake.

With the win, Whitehall advances to Thursday’s 7 p.m. district final against host Spring Lake, which rolled past Reeths-Puffer, 6-1, on six goals by Meah Bajt.

Whitehall’s win over Ludington avenged the Vikings’ road loss to the Orioles, 3-1, on May 16.

Thomas and Olivia McCarthy notched assists for Whitehall, while Brie Hamman earned the shutout in goal.
