As siblings, Parker and Addi Hovey are accustomed to sharing a lot of things.
What’s one more thing? They split the honor of CatchMark SportsNet Player of the Week for Dec. 12-17, 2022.
The weekly fan poll, which recognized six West Michigan Conference winter sports athletes for their recent performances, closed at noon today (Friday, Dec. 23).

Parker Hovey, a 6-foot-5 senior guard, posted a triple-double with 29 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists in a 92-84 home victory over Big Rapids last Thursday. In an 80-63 road win over Oakridge last Monday, led the Pirates with 21 points despite battling foul trouble.
Addi Hovey, a 5-10 forward, just missed a triple-double with 22 points, 10 rebounds, nine steals and three assists in a 63-17 home win over North Muskegon last Friday. In last Tuesday’s 63-15 road victory over Ravenna, she totaled 18 points, eight rebounds and six steals.
