Jon Russell and Mike Taylor were fixtures on the weekly “Power Hour” show on WLCS-FM 98.3 in Muskegon, entertaining listeners on area airwaves together for eight years.
The show went away in June 2020, but we’ve got news for you here at CatchMark SportsNet: It’s baaaaack, and so are Russell and Taylor!
That’s right. The Power Hour is returning. The popular show is firing back up again and we intend on making it better than ever — before a live audience at North Grove Brewers, 8735 Water St., in Montague.
We introduce the “VanDyk Mortgage Power Hour, brought to you by North Grove Brewers.” And we invite you to join us at North Grove each Thursday at 6 p.m.
Russell, Taylor and an interesting if not amusing cast of characters — often including CatchMark’s Scott DeCamp — will discuss and banter various sports topics. They’ll be looking to interact with you in the audience, as you enjoy some grub and a drink.
This week’s featured guest is Billy Harris, the former University of Michigan wide receiver on Bo Schembechler’s first two teams with the Wolverines. Harris was a starter on the U-M squad that upset top-ranked Ohio State in 1969. He also coached at Michigan for 15 years, recruiting Tom Brady, and served as defensive coordinator at Stanford.
Can’t make it to North Grove Brewers? We’ve got you covered. Each week, you can watch a live video feed of the Power Hour on the CatchMark SportsNet YouTube channel or listen live on our site, catchmarksports.com. If you’re unable to watch or listen live, the video and audio versions will be archived and available for you to watch or listen later.
