Carsen Moat’s standout play wins over 60 percent of the tallied votes

After the poll closed Friday afternoon, voters decided that Carsen Moat’s unbelievable one-handed catch was CatchMark’s Play of the Week. Moat’s impressive grab received just over 60 percent of the total votes.

The winning highlight received 327 votes, followed by Nate Bolley’s stiff arm (184) and Owen Raeth’s goal (32).

The junior wide-receiver from North Muskegon made a tough catch on a James Young pass over two defenders to even up the game 19-19 against Oakridge last Friday.

Moat finished the game with three receptions for 90 yards in North Muskegon’s hard-fought battle against Oakridge. The Norse came up just short with a final score of 27-32 in the match-up. North Muskegon is now 2-4 overall and 2-3 in the West Michigan Conference.
