MUSKEGON — Mona Shores’ competitive cheer team maintained its strong grip on the city trophy. Now the Sailors shift their focus to the upcoming MHSAA state tournament.

Mona Shores seized its 14th consecutive Greater Muskegon Athletic Association meet championship Wednesday (Feb. 14) in a meet held at Oakridge High School. Last year’s GMAA meet was canceled because of inclement weather.
