Fremont’s girls basketball team is off to a strong start in the 2023-24 season under a new, yet very familiar head coach.
Former Fremont boys coach Peter Zerfas is now leading the Packers’ girls team. His squad is off to a 5-2 overall start (3-0 in the West Michigan Conference Lakes Division) entering a game tonight (Jan. 10, 2024) at Whitehall.
Recently, Zerfas and his Packers made a trip to Whitehall for a CatchMark SportsNet media-day experience. Big thanks to White & Associates for sponsoring the event.
From a photo session to slow-motion, fog-machine hype video to a podcast, the Packers enjoyed their time in the spotlight.
