MUSKEGON — Led by respective individual champions Grace Vander Kooi and Jaxon Allen, Western Michigan Christian’s girls team and Reeths-Puffer’s boys squad captured titles in the 2023 Greater Muskegon Athletic Association cross country meet Saturday at University Park Golf Course.
It’s the second straight GMAA championship for Vander Kooi, who is following in the footsteps of older sister Abby Vander Kooi, who won four city titles in a row and now runs at Grand Valley State University.
