Vote for CatchMark Play of the Week (Sept. 27-Oct. 2)

Area athletes rose to the occasion once again this past week to provide several outstanding highlight nominations. CatchMark SportsNet brings you three noteworthy plays.

Watch the video above to see the Play of the Week nominations. Vote for the Play of the Week in the poll at the bottom of this story. The poll will close Friday, Oct. 8, at noon.

Here are descriptions of the three nominated plays to offer context:

Play 1: Carsen Moat, a junior wide-receiver from North Muskegon, makes a one-handed grab from a James Young pass over two defenders to even up the game 19-19 against Oakridge last Friday. Moat finished the game with three receptions for 90 yards. North Muskegon lost a hard-fought battle 27-32 in the West Michigan Conference match-up.

Play 2: Owen Raeth, a junior on Montague’s soccer team splits two defenders with some crafty dribbling and sneaks one by the keeper far-bar to score the Wildcat’s fourth goal of the evening. Raeth had two goals in the 4-2 victory over the Fremont Packers.

Play 3: Whitehall Football’s Nate Bolley stiff arms a Ludington defender and scores on a 62-yard reception from quarterback Kyle Stratton. Bolley completed the game with 161 yards on three receptions for two touchdowns and added a rushing TD. The Vikings shutout the Orioles 49-0.
