Vote in 2023 West Michigan Conference fall sports Player of the Year polls

Voting will be open until 8 a.m. Friday, Nov. 24, 2023. You may vote once per hour in each poll.

On Friday (Nov. 10), CatchMark SportsNet unveiled the 2023 West Michigan Conference Player of the Year finalists for seven fall sports. We detailed season accomplishments for three finalists in each sport.

Now it’s time for our readers to have their say. It’s time to vote for the Players of the Year, titled sponsored by Durga Insurance Group.

A CatchMark panel comprised of CatchMark SportsNet lead Scott DeCamp and Durga Insurance Group partners Jordan Durga and Justin Durga determined the finalists in each sport, but it’s up to you to decide who wins the awards.

Fan polls opened at 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 13. They’ll remain open for almost two weeks, closing at 8 a.m. Friday, Nov. 24.

Readers will be allowed to vote once per hour in each poll.

CatchMark SportsNet has called an audible on the Player of the Year banquet. Rather than having a banquet each season, we’re having one bigger event at the end of the school year. More details to come on that, but all Player of the Year finalists and their guests will be invited.

Trophies and laminated certificates will be awarded. A trophy that stays in our CatchMark office in Whitehall will have the names of all Players of the Year engraved on it.

What part of the girl who set a cross country record and is state champ and is last, makes any sense!?!?. Small schools can’t possibly compete with bigger schools. Which makes these competitions so stupid and frustrating
