MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 55, WHITE CLOUD 10: Host MCC blanked White Cloud in the first quarter, 21-0, en route to the runaway victory to cap the Spartans’ December schedule.
“I was very happy with how we opened the game. Jaden Gomez is a really athletic point guard and I felt as though our kids did a great job keeping her in front of them and taking them out of their sets,” MCC coach Brian Beebe said. “Mallory (Miller) knocked down a couple of early triples against their zone and was able to really get us going on that end of the floor.”
Miller was 8-for-8 from the floor, including 5-of-5 from 3-point range, all in the first half as the Spartans built a 40-6 lead.
