WHITEHALL — Whitehall’s boys track and field team has been pretty clear about its goals for the 2023 season: The Vikings are chasing a state championship. They’re off to a heck of a start this season, too.
During a CatchMark SportsNet media-day session on Saturday, April 15, members of the squad let their guard down for a little while and relaxed.
From a photo session to slow-motion, fog-machine video to a podcast season preview and even the Lil’ Nitro Challenge, the Vikings made the most of their experience.

DON’T FORGET THE LIL’ NITRO TIKTOK
Whitehall’s boys track and field team has some daring members. Just check out some of the heights that the pole vaulters are reaching. But perhaps nobody is more daring than sophomore Kal Koehler, who accepted the “Lil’ Nitro Challenge” and ate the “world’s hottest gummy bear.”
