It was a busy night in West Michigan Conference girls basketball Tuesday, Jan. 25.

HART 54, MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 43: At MCC, the visiting and Division 3 10th-ranked Pirates jumped out to a 16-4 advantage in the first quarter of action. Down the stretch, the Spartans put in a comeback effort to pull within four points. Hart responded with big 3-pointers from Morgan Marvin and Kendal Williamson and claimed victory.

MONTAGUE 56, OAKRIDGE 44: At Montague, the host Wildcats led 23-22 in a scrappy first half of play. In the fourth quarter, the ‘Cats outscored the Eagles 24-9 and completed their sixth win in the league.

SHELBY 33, NORTH MUSKEGON 12: At North Muskegon, it was a slow-moving first half as Shelby took a 12-5 lead into the break. The visiting Tigers broke it open in the third with a 15-1 scoring advantage.
