Charley Klint finishes with 22 points and 8 rebounds to power the Vikings.

Charley Klint had another big game for Whitehall’s girls basketball team, but the Vikings could not overcome a large first-half deficit in a 49-39 nonleague road loss to Ludington on Saturday.

Klint finished with 22 points and eight rebounds for Whitehall, which trailed 20-7 after one quarter and 33-16 at halftime.

The Vikings (3-5 overall) rallied in the third quarter with defensive pressure and pulled within six at one point, but they could not get over the hump.
