Three West Michigan Conference boys soccer teams saw their seasons come to an end on Thursday (Oct. 19) with losses in district championship matches.

DIVISION 2 AT BIG RAPIDS
CEDAR SPRINGS 5, LUDINGTON 1: Ludington fell to a solid Cedar Springs squad in the district finals and finishes its season with a 17-6 record.
Aiden Malburg scored Ludington’s lone goal, assisted by Spencer Holmes. Gabe Gamez made four saves on seven shots for the Orioles before Caleb Sheldon finished the game in goal. Cedar Springs edged Ludington in shots on goal, 9-6.
Cedar Springs (15-5-1) advances to Tuesday’s 5 p.m. regional semifinal on its own field, where it will face Grand Rapids Christian.

DIVISION 3 AT OAKRIDGE
GRAND RAPIDS CATHOLIC CENTRAL 8, OAKRIDGE 0: Host Oakridge was turned away in its quest for a third district title in four seasons as the Eagles suffered a loss to GRCC.
Oakridge finishes the season with 12-8-1 record. Senior Arturo Romero-Serrano closes his sparkling career with 105 goals.
GRCC (11-9) advances to Tuesday’s 5 p.m. regional semifinal at Big Rapids, where the Cougars take on Alma.

DIVISION 4 AT WESTERN MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN
WESTERN MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN 6, NORTH MUSKEGON 1: North Muskegon fell to top-ranked host Western Michigan Christian and see its season end with a 9-10-4 record.
WMC (17-2-3) advances to Tuesday’s 7 p.m. regional semifinal at Holland, where it will face the winner of Marcellus Howardsville Christian and Bangor.
