
Seven boys basketball games involving West Michigan Conference teams took place Thursday night.

WHITEHALL 70, ORCHARD VIEW 57: On Whitehall’s senior night, sophomore Camden Thompson finished with 26 points and 20 rebounds as the Vikings clinched a share of the WMC Lakes Division title. Senior Tyler Manzo, a favorite of fans and his teammates, scored the first bucket of the game.

HART 68, HOLTON 16: Visiting Hart capped the regular season with a perfect record at 22-0, the first unbeaten mark in program history, at least in the modern era.

FREMONT 55, MANISTEE 40: Fremont senior Jordon McDonald reached the 1,000-point milestone for his career in leading the Packers to the WMC Lakes Division victory over host Manistee. “Jordon is going to average over 20 points per game for the second year in a row and he will go down as one of the best players to put on a uniform for Fremont,” Fremont coach Adam Bowen said.

OAKRIDGE 44, MONTAGUE 43: Host Oakridge rallied from a 25-17 halftime deficit and avenged an earlier 30-point loss to shorthanded Montague in this WMC Lakes Division game and regular-season finale. Oakridge’s Ty Maitland provided a big boost, including making a key block as time expired.
