Coaches Corner replay: Whitehall football player called ‘Red’ has many talents

Red Watson does a little bit of everything for Whitehall’s football team.

A young man of many talents, the senior receiver/cornerback/return man can even do a spot-on impersonation of Christian Subdon, his defensive backs coach and head basketball coach.

Watch Watson mimic Subdon during Sunday night’s episode of “Coaches Corner,” as “Red” was special guest on the weekly show with Whitehall football coach Tony Sigmon.

Many topics were covered, including Friday’s 34-14 “Battle for the Bell” victory over neighboring rival Montague, which earned Whitehall a share of the West Michigan Conference title. Also, Watson revealed his birth name and where the nickname “Red” originated.
