Madie Folkema – Western Michigan Christian Girls Basketball
Folkema delivered one of the most complete performances of the week, impacting the game on both ends of the floor. She finished with 21 points, nine rebounds, and seven steals, consistently creating offense while also turning defense into transition chances with her pressure and anticipation. Even while battling through adversity, she remained the focal point for WMC and set the tone with her energy, toughness, and ability to make winning plays in every phase.
Taylor Nutt – Ravenna Girls Bowling
Nutt continued to pace one of the area’s hottest teams, helping Ravenna stack dominant wins while posting big scores at the top of the lineup. She rolled standout games including 237 and 180, and also produced strong series earlier in the week as the Bulldogs stayed unbeaten and consistently controlled matches from start to finish. Her combination of consistency and ceiling has made her a key reason Ravenna keeps rolling and racking up lopsided team victories.
Cooper Lengkeek – Fruitport Wrestling
Lengkeek put together a huge week for Fruitport, delivering in both duals and tournament action while helping the Trojans pile up team points. He went 2–0 with two pins in dual matches and followed it up with a strong third-place finish at the Sparta Invitational, showing he can win multiple ways against quality competition. He also added a major milestone by reaching 100 career wins, a benchmark that reflects his sustained excellence, competitiveness, and leadership within one of the area’s strongest programs.
