VanDyk Mortgage Live Radio: Montague-Whitehall girls basketball game (Dec. 14)

Jon Russell and Cal VanSingel hit the air for the CatchMark Game of the Week

There are four girls basketball teams who stand at 2-0 in the West Michigan Conference. Montague and Whitehall make up two out of the four.

Whitehall will travel cross river to take on Montague for the CatchMark Game of the Week. The winner will decide who takes a step-up in the league standings.

CatchMark’s Jon Russell and Cal VanSingel will be onsite at approximately 7 p.m. tonight (Dec. 14) in Montague providing a live radio broadcast. Click the link at the bottom of the story to get the live audio feed for the contest.

Montague won all three contests between the rivals last season and an inexperienced Whitehall squad will be looking to upset that precedent. Whitehall senior, Charley Klint will head up the fight for the Vikings. Montague’s Meacham sisters (Claire and Madelyne), often referred to as the “twin towers” will strive to keep the bragging rights on their side of the bridge.

In addition to live audio, CatchMark is producing a video stream of the game, which will be available through the NFHS Network for a fee and can be viewed afterwards on the CatchMark SportsNet YouTube channel for free.
