Arturo Romero added another hat trick to his pile of three-goal games this season in leading Oakridge to a 6-2 victory over hosting rival Orchard View in a Division 3 district soccer semifinal on Wednesday.
Isaac Willard, Ian Thompson and Dallas Meyers also notched goals for the Eagles (11-8-1), who snapped a three-game skid and advance to the district final against Grand Rapids West Catholic (9-9-1). That match will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday at Orchard View.
West Catholic defeated Grant, 5-0, on Wednesday.
Ryan Cribbins had two assists for Oakridge, while Romero and Brayden Mahnke also recorded helpers. Keegan Williamson made eight saves for the Eagles.
Orchard View closes the season with a 2-16-1 record.
