We had a rough start to the third quarter after a strong end to the second, but we were able to bounce back. Overall, we’ve improved defensively, which has created points for us offensively.”

North Muskegon V Holton, 41 – 20 – Thanks to an anonymous SportsNut for the excellent coverage!
North Muskegon locked in defensively and spread the scoring around, putting together an all-around team effort to secure an impressive West Michigan Conference win.
Grace Miller led the charge for the Norse (8-9) with 11 points, while Delaney Young added 10 and Emma Buchmiller chipped in six. But it wasn’t just the scoring that stood out—North Muskegon’s energy and execution on both ends of the floor made the difference.
Head coach Jill Young was proud of her team’s effort, especially given the circumstances.
“Well, both teams were a bit banged up tonight, that’s for sure! The Lady Norse always hustle, but tonight some of the details fell into place for us,” Young said. “Our shots were falling, and ball movement and defense were really good. We had almost everyone on the team contribute scoring, and that’s what you want as a coach. We also had some good senior leadership tonight!”
On the other side, Holton (7-11) struggled to find an offensive rhythm, with Kenzie Green leading the way with five points.
