Delaney Young – North Muskegon Basketball
Delaney Young put together a monster stretch of two-way production, headlined by a dominant all-around line of 22 points, 14 rebounds, 6 steals, and 4 assists vs. Orchard View. She followed that with 18 points vs. MCC, then added impact beyond scoring with 7 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 steals vs. Oakridge. Her case is built on consistent, game-changing presence on both ends and clear leadership during key wins.
Haegan Hansen – Hart Wrestling
Haegan Hansen delivered a standout milestone performance at Shelby’s Super Duals, where Hart went 3–2 on the day. Hansen helped the Pirates beat rival Shelby 54–24, along with wins over Decatur (58–23) and Fremont (81–0), while Hart fell to Cedar Springs (47–30) and Kent City (39–26). Individually, Hansen reached a major career benchmark by earning his 100th career victory at the meet and backed it up with an elite day on the mat, finishing 5–0 with three pins.
Genevieve Franklin – Fruitport Bowling
Genevieve “Gen” Franklin has the most complete week, combining peak performance with consistency and coach recognition. She rolled a 320 high series vs. Hopkins, shot 144 vs. Comstock Park, and collected multiple individual points across matches, contributing in both tight contests and lopsided wins. Her coach specifically highlighted her as delivering one of the best series of the day, giving her nomination that extra edge of standout validation on top of results.
