Cam Gunsell, Ludington Football

Ludington senior quarterback Cam Gunsell went absolutely off and made it clear why he’s on our Player of the Week. The kid was a workhorse — 34 carries for 246 yards and five touchdowns, plus he went 8-for-11 through the air for another 116 yards and a score. And just in case that wasn’t enough, he led the Orioles on defense too with a team-high six tackles.

Cadence Fox, Montague Girls Golf

Fox absolutely crushed it at the opening WMC jamboree — tying Montague’s school-record low with a sizzling 75, including three birdies and scoring bogey‑or‑better on 17 of 18 holes. Helping The Cats’ dominate the field with a jaw-dropping 54‑stroke team victory over Whitehall (team total of 358 to Whitehall’s 412).

Bobby Jazwinski, Whitehall Boys Cross Country

Whitehall junior Bobby Jazwinski left no doubt who owned the course — and it makes him a lock for our Player of the Week poll. He threw down a jaw-dropping 15:15.1 at the Under the Lights Invite. Jazwinski set a new meet record by 4.4 seconds, shaved nearly nine seconds off his personal best, and won the Sunset Division by a whopping 25.1 seconds. To top it all off, he etched his name into Whitehall history with a new school 5K record, lowering the mark by 33.1 seconds.
