Robby “Stonewall” Smith, Senior, Montague Soccer
The senior, goalkeeping for Montague, truly electrified the atmosphere in Montague’s district finals matchup last week. With a stellar performance, he led the Cats to a commanding victory, shutting out the Packers in one of the most critical games of the year.
Mayson Southland, Senior, Mona Shores Girls Golf
Southland, a senior for the Sailors, showcased her incredible talent by rallying to reach the state finals last week. This weekend, she traveled to the Meadows in Allendale to compete. Over the two-day event, she posted a total score of 162 (+18), with an impressive first day score of 80 (+8) and a solid second day of 82 (+10). Her performance earned her a commendable 7th place overall, placing her among the top 10 at the state level.
Kaden Kott, Senior, Manistee Football
Kaden Kott delivered an outstanding performance in Manistee’s 65-32 victory over Montague, solidifying his status as a key player for the Mariners. Rushing for 158 yards and scoring two touchdowns on 14 carries, Kott showcased his versatility by also catching nine passes for 109 yards. Defensively, Kott played a crucial role with 11 tackles.
Conner Raeth began his journey at CatchMark as an intern in October 2020, while studying Internet, Network, and Security Technologies at the Muskegon Career Tech Center. His dedication and expertise led him to a full-time role as a Help Desk Technician in mid-2022, post-graduation. Today, he excels as the Digital Content Lead for CatchMark’s SportsNet platform, leveraging his technical knowledge to drive its success.
