Spring Lake’s football team is off to a great start to the 2023 season.
The Lakers recorded a road victory over Montague in the opener and home win over Belding in the second game, both by identical 34-28 scores.
The schedule only gets tougher for Spring Lake, which hosts Hudsonville Unity Christian in the Hall of Fame Game this Friday at Grabinski Field. After that, it’s a challenging home game against Coopersville followed by a big road test against Grand Rapids West Catholic.
The Lakers cut loose during a media-day experience at CatchMark on Sunday, Aug. 27, sponsored by Automedics of Spring Lake.
