Free livestream: Montague hosts Whitehall in Game of the Week boys basketball clash

Whitehall’s boys basketball team has been on quite the roll lately. The Vikings have won four straight games and seven of their last eight.

The beginning of that eight-game run began with a home victory over arch-rival Montague, 53-43, on Jan. 4.

Well, it’s time for the Vikings and Wildcats to clash again. They’ll do so tonight (Feb. 10, 2022) at Montague. It’s the CatchMark SportsNet Game of the Week, and it we’ll be livestreaming it for free. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m., although the exact time depends on when the junior varsity game before it finishes.

Montague also has been riding a hot streak with five straight wins. Will the Wildcats (9-4 overall, 5-4 West Michigan Conference) be able to keep it going against the similarly hot Vikings (9-4, 7-2), who share the conference lead with Ravenna?

Montague is still in contention for a league title, just two games behind the co-leaders, but the Wildcats need this one tonight.
