Jessica Jazwinski apparently wasn’t done winning titles when she ran away with the MHSAA Division 3 individual championship Nov. 5 at Michigan International Speedway.

The Hart sophomore had plenty left in the tank during the Girls Elite Team race of the MITCA Michigan Meet of Champions Saturday at Shepherd High School. Jazwinski turned in a personal-best time of 16:47.3 to win the all-division race by nearly 13 seconds.

Grandville senior Allison Arnsman, who placed second in the MHSAA Division 1 state finals race, was runner-up at the Meet of Champions with a time of 17:00.0.

Hart junior Alyson Enns, who was fourth at the MHSAA Division 3 state finals, finished 13th (18:00.7) at the Meet of Champions.

In the Meet of Champions’ Boys Elite Team race, Hart senior Clayton Ackley finished 11th with a PR of 15:27.7. He placed second in the MHSAA Division 3 race in leading the Pirates to the team state title on Nov. 5.
