LUDINGTON — The Jazwinski siblings both achieved new milestones in running away with first place in their respective cross-country races of the West Michigan Conference Mega Meet Tuesday at Mason County Fairgrounds.
Hart junior Jessica Jazwinski broke a school record previously held by Adelyn Ackley, crossing the finish line in 16:47.80. Jazwinski fell just short of her personal-record time, which is the 16:47.3 she ran in the MITCA Meet of Champions last season.
Her younger brother, Hart freshman Bobby Jazwinski, established a new PR of 15:23.90 and broke his own school record in the process.
