SPRING LAKE — Meah Bajt netted a first-half hat trick and finished with five tallies in leading host Spring Lake to a 7-1 victory over Whitehall in a Division 2 girls district soccer final Thursday night.

The prolific senior scored all six of the Lakers’ goals in Tuesday’s 6-1 district semifinal win over Reeths-Puffer. With the first three goals Thursday, that stretched Bajt’s streak to nine straight tallies for her team.

Bajt finished with 11 goals in two district games, giving her a school-record 43 on the season.

Whitehall finishes the season, coach Adam Prince’s first with the Vikings, with a 10-8 record. Senior Maggie Evans netted the lone goal for Whitehall, giving her 36 on the season and a school-record 114 in her career.
