Meet Whitehall senior safety Max Brown, who drops by for ‘Coaches Corner’ visit

Wrestling state champ also gets the job done on the football field for the Vikings.

Whitehall senior Max Brown is well-known for his wrestling achievements. He’s a reigning state champion at 140 pounds for the Vikings.

Brown also is an important player for the Whitehall football team’s defense as a sure-tackling starting safety.

He visited the CatchMark studio Monday night, joining Tony Sigmon on Whitehall’s “Coaches Corner” show, in advance of a big Division 4 district finals game at Cadillac. Whitehall (8-2) and Cadillac (8-2) kick it off at 7 p.m. Friday.

Watch the video above to see what Brown and Sigmon had to say about their team’s 40-20 first-round playoff victory over Sparta and their breakdown of this week’s game at Cadillac.

Get to know Brown on more of a personal level, too, as he answers some rapid-fire questions.
