In back to back weeks, Montague is joined by four other Muskegon-area high school football teams in the Associated Press’ latest poll, released Monday.
Following week a big Week 5 win against Ravenna, Montague (4-1) secures a tied No. 4 ranking in Division 6.
Mona Shores (4-1) is No. 6 in Division 2, Muskegon (4-1) is tied at No. 3 in Division 3, Spring Lake (5-0) is No. 5 in Division 5, and Muskegon Catholic Central (4-1) is No. 8 in Division 7.
Whitehall (4-1) and Oakridge (4-1) also received votes in the AP rankings in Division 4 and Division 5. Whitehall tallied seven votes, one shy of the No. 10 spot held by Paw Paw. Oakridge received a sole vote.
