West Michigan Conference basketball is back in action this week.
What better way to resume play than to take on your arch-rival?
Tuesday night, Montague (3-0, 2-0 West Michigan Conference) visits neighboring rival Whitehall (2-3, 1-1) in a boys basketball clash. Tip-off should take place at approximately 7 p.m.
It’s always a big game when the White Lake teams square off, but we’re upping the ante with this one.
Not only is it the CatchMark SportsNet Game of the Week, but it’s going to be live-streamed for free on the CatchMark SportsNet YouTube channel. Watch the action as the longtime broadcasting team of Jon Russell and Cal VanSingel call the game.
Last season, Whitehall swept Montague en route to winning the West Michigan Conference title. The Vikings beat the Wildcats 75-47 at Whitehall and 46-27 at Montague. Tate Stine, the Wildcats’ seasoned senior point guard, did not play in either of those matchups last season as he sat out the 2020-21 campaign with a knee injury.
