Montague’s wrestling team opened the 2023-24 season Wednesday night with a pair of convincing victories at Wyoming Godwin Heights.
In the first match, Montague defeated Godwin Heights, 48-24. In the second match, Montague beat Grand Rapids Ottawa Hills, 72-12.
Undefeated wrestlers for the Wildcats included Brock Hunter, Kian Peters, Savannah Winkleblack, Kaiden Jeffery, Jimmy Thommen, Fletcher Thommen, Emma Pendell, Aydan Everett, Ethan Lundy, Chris Evans, Oliver Evans, and Carlos Meza.
