Rivalry discussion dominates CatchMark SportsNet Podcast on ‘Battle for Bell’ week

Being that it’s “Battle for the Bell” week with Montague and Whitehall tangling on the football field Friday night, what better time to talk rivalries than now.

That’s what we did this week on Episode 4 of the 2022 CatchMark SportsNet Podcast.

Ken Byard, a North Muskegon dad/coach/retired administrator, and Mr. Whitehall Tommy Lauterberg joined co-hosts Scott DeCamp and Tate Stine on the podcast, which recorded Monday, Sept. 12.

Topics ranged from the Montague-Whitehall rivalry — Byard’s history includes both schools; Lauterberg is all red-and-white — to other rivalries in sports.
