NORTON SHORES — Mona Shores’ volleyball team captured a second straight Greater Muskegon Athletic Association championship on Saturday.
Mona Shores swept Montague in the finals, 25-19, 25-17, 25-17.
Division 2 Montague (14-18-4 overall), which played tough all day, opened with a three-set win over rival Whitehall (22-25, 25-17, 15-7) and followed with a two-set victory over Fruitport (25-20, 25-20) in the semifinals.
Division 1 Mona Shores (31-5 overall) opened the day with a two-set win over Ravenna (25-7, 25-15) and then beat North Muskegon in the semifinals in two sets (25-12, 25-22).

North Muskegon went 1-2 at the GMAA tournament with a win over Western Michigan Christian (16-25, 29-27, 15-5) and losses to Mona Shores in the semifinals (25-12, 25-22) and to Fruitport in a consolation (26-24, 25-21).
