The West Michigan Conference race for both girls and boys basketball is approaching the midway point of the season.
On the girls’ side, Hart edged Montague in last week’s matchup to take the outright lead in the WMC. Montague’s first conference loss drops them to second place overall.
On the boys’ side, things seem to be about as clear as mud. Fourth place Montague knocked Shelby out of the top spot last week and will fight against the new league leading Ravenna team this Friday. Whitehall and North Muskegon are also right in the mix.
