See which West Michigan Conference volleyball players earned 2022 all-state honors

The Michigan Interscholastic Volleyball Coaches Association recently announced all-state teams for the 2022 season.

A number of West Michigan Conference players earned recognition on the MIVCA all-state squads. Shelby sophomore outside hitter Navea Gauthier repeated as a first-team all-stater in Division 3.

Here are all of the all-state honorees from the conference:

DIVISION 2

Maddy Vaara (Ludington), junior, 6-1 middle hitter

Honorable Mention

Anastacia Trevino (Montague), 5-10 middle hitter

DIVISION 3

First Team

Navea Gauthier (Shelby), sophomore, 6-1 outside hitter

Second Team

Sami Baker (North Muskegon), junior, 5-6 setter

Third Team

Morgan Weirich (Shelby), senior, 5-6 libero

Natalie Pannucci (North Muskegon), senior, 5-11 outside hitter

Honorable Mention

Joslynne Bogner (North Muskegon), senior, 5-10 middle blocker
