Thompson and Morningstar both with double digit points in route win over Fremont

Whitehall stays unbeaten in conference play.

FREMONT – Camden Thompson recorded his 11th double-double of this season (11 games played) with 27 points and 11 rebounds. Thompson finished just one assist shy of a triple-double with nine total. Brock Morningstar continues to light it up from beyond the arc, shooting 3-7 from 3pt land in the 74-33 win. Morningstar tallied 11 points, three assists and three steals.

Kal Koehler contributed eight points and six rebounds. Finn Muller and Hunter Osborne also chipped in eight points apiece.

Brayden Crosby led Fremont with 10 points. Blake Zerlaut followed with five.

Whitehall got off to a quick 27-5 start in the first quarter and never looked back on its way to extend their winning streak to five games.

OVERVIEW

Fremont falls to (2-8, 1-4) after the blowout loss and will try to find its footing on Monday as they host Big Rapids.

Whitehall moves to (9-2, 5-0) and will face Orchard View on Friday as its lone game this week. However, the road isn’t as nice as it looks moving forward. The Vikings will travel to Rockford (10-1) on January 21st.
